HOW TO PLAY?
HOW TO PLAY? WhirlyBall is a team sport and a fun group activity. The playing court is approximately 4,000 sq. ft. and there are 10 WhirlyBugs™ on the playing court at one time, five red and five yellow. The objective is for each team to effectively pass the whiffle ball between team members and successfully toss the ball through the hole in the backboard of the opposing team. In one hand the player has a Jai-Alai style plastic scoop and in the other hand a steering crank. The ball being tossed around is a softball sized whiffle ball. At each end of the court ...
LEAGUE INFORMATION
League Play: League Play will consist of up to 12 teams of 5 players each, playing two games one night per week for 8 weeks. Playoffs: A double elimination tournament will be played at the end of each league session. Schedule: A schedule will be provided to all players prior to the start of regular season. Registration: Team registration fee of $50.00 must be paid before a team will be considered part of the league. Cost: League games are $6.50 per game ($13.00 per league night). Team Responsibilities: Each league team is responsible for "Court-time" and fielding a full team for their weekly games.
